Micah Christensen | MFDA, PhD
Micah is a scholar of European, Asian, and American fine art, porcelain, and decorative objects. He earned his Masters of Fine & Decorative Art from Sotheby’s Institute (London), where he worked in several royal, private, and public collections. During that time, he was mentored by many leaders in the field, including Gordon Lang, a founder of the Antiques Roadshow.
For his doctorate at the University of London, Micah spent ten years in more than 40 museums in France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and United States to research the classroom practice and patronage of artists. He subsequently lectured on the subject throughout Europe, including at the British Library and for Cambridge University. 
Micah sits on the Board of the Springville Museum of Art, the Utah Institute of Classical Art & Architecture, and the Beaux-Arts Academy. He regularly writes for Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. As a consultant, he works with private and public collectors around the world.

Rather than entering a traditional art program upon graduating high school, Stephanie began seeking out today's leading artists and apprenticing under them personally. In addition to landscapes, still lifes, and figurative works, Frantzen creates serial and allegorical works that incorporate diverse stylistic elements along with gilding, stained glass, and mosaic.
 
Frantzen’s work has shown at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the Butler Institute of American Art, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, the Denver Historical Museum, and as an award winner in the Portrait Society of America’s International Portrait Competition. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Figge Art Museum, the Dubuque Museum of Art, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, the Brunnier Art Museum, the USDA, and the World Food Prize.
 
Frantzen is a frequent demonstrator, guest lecturer, and panelist discussing art and the artist’s life in the 21st century at museums and national art conventions. Her paintings have been featured in numerous national and international art magazines and journals, and she has been a frequent faculty member at the Portrait Society of America's Annual Conference, demonstrating portrait painting.
 
Frantzen studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, the Palette & Chisel Academy with Richard Schmid, and at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, studying anatomy with the late Deane G. Keller.
 
Portrait of Maquoketa, Frantzen’s yearlong project in which she invited anyone in her hometown to sit and be painted, resulted in 180 portraits that were all shown at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC in 2005/2006. In 2012/2013, she completed her vision for Portrait of Maquoketa by painting a 315 square foot landscape view of the town on 34 vertical panels that hold the portraits on the other side. As an installation at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa, the panels were suspended from the ceiling throughout the gallery. When visitors sat at one end of the installation, all of the landscape panels coalesced into a unified view. 
 
The Figge Art Museum has purchased Portrait of Maquoketa and alternately shows and travels the installation.
 
Frantzen is represented by Gallery 1261 in Denver, CO and by Old City Hall Gallery in Maquoketa, Iowa, where she shows with her husband, Charles Morris. Frantzen and her parents purchased Maquoketa's former city hall in 1991, converting the three story 1901 building into a gallery and studio space.

Todd M. Casey was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. His artistic education includes a BFA in Communication Design from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Massachusetts.
After receiving his degree in 2001, he moved to New York City where he worked as a Graphic Designer. He then relocated to San Francisco to pursue a Masters in Animation at the Academy of Art. While taking the foundation classes for his MFA, he discovered that his true passion was painting. Decision made, he soon returned to New York City to the studio of Jacob Collins at the Water Street Atelier and began his classical painting training in 2007. 
Casey’s work touches on more than simplistic realism. There is a haunting, nearly literary quality to each frame— a feeling that subjects are viewed from behind mottled glass, burnished by enigmatic candlelight, or brushed by the soft, hazy edges of a half-remembered dream. His work is classically styled but progressive in approach.  Every painting has a tale to tell, brewed from a deep well of introspective thought. 
His paintings have been honored with awards several times in recent years. Most recently, he won first four times at the Portrait Society of America’s Members Only Competition and placed first in oil painting from the Allied Artists of America in 2015. His work can be found in collections throughout the United States, and on the East Coast at Rehs Contemporary Gallery, in Midtown New York City, and Simie Maryles Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts. 
In resulting years, Todd has made the transition from painter to author and teacher. He published his first art book The Art of Still Life in 2020 with Monacelli Press. His second book The Oil Painters’ Color Handbook comes out in August of 2022. His work will also be featured in Cocktails: A Still Life, by Christine Sismondo and James Waller, which is slated for release in August 2022. When not painting, writing, or illustrating, Casey teaches classes for the Massachusetts College of Art and The Academy of Art University Online, The Art Students League of New York, and through private online classes and workshops.   Casey lives in Connecticut with his wife Gina, and their daughter Scarlet. When not painting, writing, or teaching, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family. Todd is also on the Trekell Pro Team

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Olga Krimon received academic art education in Kazan, Russia. Growing up she was (and still is) largely influenced by Repin, Serov, Brullov, Levitan, Kramskoy, Fechin and other Russian titans. She then discovered Sargent, Zorn, Sorolla and Cecilia Beaux, and to this day she examines the movement, the bold brushstrokes and the value arrangements in their pieces.
She continued to grow and develop her skills later in America, through drawing classes with Glen Orbik and painting classes with Jeremy Lipking. Olga also holds a BA in Art History, and she credits it with providing her the rich visual vocabulary that is instrumental for defining her path as an artist. She also later received an MBA, making her well-grounded in the business side of an artistic career.
Olga continues to refine her craft through independent studies and daily practice. Over time, she developed her own style grounded in fundamental principles of academic realism, sensitivity to subtle value and color transitions, and yet bold energy of movement and expressive brushstrokes. Olga’s Figurative and Still Life Paintings are recognized by the Portrait Society of America PSoA (International Competition 1st Place Drawing 2016 and 3rd Honor Award 2014, Certificates of Excellence 2011, 2015 and 2018, Members Only 3rd Merit 2015 and Honorable Mention 2014) and American Art Collector Award of Excellence, Oil Painters of America (OPA) Western Regional Competition 2014. She is also a finalist in 2015 and 2016 Art Renewal Center (ARC) International Salon Competition.
